Living Standards, Household Consumption - Reports on quality

 

  • EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).

     

  • Living Conditions (EU-SILC)

    Specific requirements are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in:

    Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 (IESS) establishing a common framework for European statistics relating to persons and households, based on data at individual level collected from samples;

    Regulation (EU) 2019/2180 specifying the detailed arrangements and content for the quality reports pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1700;

    Regulation EU 2019/2242 specifying the technical items of data sets, establishing the technical formats and specifying the detailed arrangements and content of the quality reports on the organisation of a sample survey in the income and living conditions domain pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1700,

    And specific methodological guidelines DocSILC065.

    Quality Report is transmitted once a year within 3 months of the deadline for transmitting the data and microdata. It means that the quality report is provided by 31 March of the year Y+1 (regarding data on the year Y).
